Ryshon Jones | Happily Unhappy [Mixtape] @RyshonJones

To say Ryshon Jones has grown since the release of his break out mixtape The Lower I Fall, The Higher I Aim dropped would be a major understatement. Fresh off the release of his album Brightest Nights, Darkest Days, the Philadelphia emcee continues to pump out music at an almost incomparable rate. Earlier in the week we received the horror-move-like Late Night With My Best Friend Pt. 2. Today he brings us Happily Unhappy, the follow up to his Weeknd sampled EP, Friday. With Jairo Menendez, Jermaine D. Hunt, Talen Ted, Geo Sanchez, Lando Beats and Lee Bannon on the production, Jones keeps his the same format with no features and the Toronto singers harmonies mixed through each track. He does however show us a side we have never seen before on The Outro After The Outro. We'll just call that the happy part. Enjoy.

Ryshon says about the tape...

This project is a follow up to my EP from September, Friday. The whole purpose is to flip The Weeknd samples on the project as it follows the storyline of the process of getting over a heartbreak. The tape is dark and gloomy with a unexpected happy ending
