Sooo, in recent news, Kanye west wore a Kilt during the
121212 sandy relief concert at MSG. But whats new? Kanye wore a kilt on the WTT
tour and I honestly think it fits him. But my question Is why no one had
problems when he wore it in the N*ggas in Paris video? Whats all this “Kanye is
gay” and “Kanye swag is corny” , I feel as though if you think Kanye “swag” is
corny, you must live underneath a boulder. Kanye isn’t afraid ,which is why I respect
his style and mindset. Sometimes I wonder, do people have issues with the kilt because
he’s black? Or because he’s a black hip-hop artist. Why do people have so much hatred for his
fashion choices.
Also, in the past week ASAP Rocky wore an ANN DEMEULEMEESTER long shirt to 106 and park. Media and Blogs screamed dress, I mean it does look like one but its not labeled as one. I personally wouldn’t cop one and rock it, as I would do the kilt, but I respect him as well for it. We all know he’s known for his fashion, so why even be surprised that he’d wear something like this? Then again I ask, is it because he’s black? Or because he’s a hiphop artist?
If you seen someone outside of the hiphop community wearing
something similar , would alarms ring? Doubt it. Maybe because the ones wearing
it are not in the lime light . who knows? But fashion is moving forward, and backwards at the same time. More ideas
for the future ,with vintage looks. If that makes sense. Everyones not gonna
like every design or style. I just ask that you be open minded and know what
youre talking about before you “troll” upon a topic. Skirt, dresses… no. Do
research. I remember when skinny jeans came over to hiphop, people started
acting like this the first time People ever wore them. They just wasn’t regular
in the Hiphop community. But they been popular in the Rock / Pop genre for many
years . No one had an issue. Why cant you let our culture move forward and not
hate on those thinking out of the box
Think. What if Jordan released kilts. LOL you all will be in
line the entire weekend ! “HYPEBEAST WE KNOW ABOUT YA” BUT SERIOUSLY we all entitled to our own opinion, this is
mine who gon check me? I will wear a
kilt, I have worn kilt like clothing. I can wear it and be comfortable cause I know

can do whatever style you want. Some people are afraid of what others think, that’s
