Brooklyn-based Theophilus London drops a new summer jam titled 'Morning Kisses'. This song definitely has an 80's club feel to it. Expect 'Morning Kisses' to be featured on London's upcoming mixtape called Rose Island.

Erykah Badu has announced her plans to release 2 albums this year. In a conversation with S2S Magazine, she is currently working on her forthcoming solo project and a collaborative album with her group, the Cannabinoids. While The Cannabinoids's name may reference the receptors in marijuana,Erykah Badu hopes that the listener will appreciate the group's digital hip-hop influenced sound, which has helped reinvigorate her creativity. This is great news for the music industry.
After the preliminary snippet of a collaboration between The KickDrums, Lana Del Rey and A$AP Rocky hit the internet a day ago, it was clear that “Ridin’” was going to be huge. Slated to appear on The KickDrums mixtape Follow the Leader which was released yesterday, the song was mysteriously left off which immediately caused people to speculate as to why. Santigold confirms today that her and recently liberated OFWGKTA member Earl Sweatshirt are working on a new track together, after exchanging several tweets last week on twitter. Santigold spoke with Pitchfork stating "It sounds like a fun collab! If it turns out dope, you'll hear it!,". No word on whether it’ll make the cut on the singers upcoming LP Master of My Make-Believe, but Santigold is in good company in terms of who Earl is looking to work with, including the likes of Madlib, DOOM, Flying Lotus and Kanye West. Santigold’s Master of My Make-Believe is available in stores from May 1.
According to The New York Observer, Kanye West has set his sights on a similar short film as his 2010 offering Runaway, with filming set to take place in the Middle East and involving local municipal officials and film companies. Sources tell The Observer that Mr. West sent members of his team to meet with film companies and government officials based out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha, Qatar to explore the idea of a production. While details are muddy at best right now, surely more concrete ideas and locales will emerge in the very near future.
