The homies over at The Modern Life Mag has been establishing themselves as one of the premier online magazines to support new artists. While doing that, they've collaborated with one of the elite DJs on the circuit right now, Gianni Lee. Probably heard some his of work from the Good Kid, Maad City Sample mix to the Long Live ASAP sample mix, Gianni has caught the attention of Complex to the Los Angeles Times. Also we have one of the premier DJs from Texas, JSMTH mixing this project. He resume is not too shabby either, his work has been featured on the Prefix and Mishka.

Philly Nativ GrandeMarshall graces us with a new visual for "Thuggin Shidd Pt.II" shot by BrainBandits. The Soulful Erykah Badu Sample is perfect for the Heart-felt lyrics of the song. This wasn't on his debut mixtape 800 but you can definitely find it on Gianni Lee's TrillWave TRES mixtape.

In celebration of Kendrick Lamar's prolific release of GKMC, Gianni Lee and Mike Blud decide to do some things differently with this edition of  "The Samples". Track 1 entitled "Prologue" prepares you for an entirely new experience and way to digest each sample but more importantly how to view the project in it's entirety. GKMC The Samples attempts to walk you through a dream sequence without quite leading you out. With Gianni and Babylon Cartel heading the art-direction with a clean animated gif as the cover, this is sure to be one of the best sample-tapes to date.
