Who is K.Lorraine? A Dreamer, a Designer, a Diva, A young woman destined for Greatness .
How did you get started down this career path? I’ve been creating things as far back as I can remember. From sewing decals onto my jeans, to creating ready to wear apparel for birthdays and proms, I’ve always been into designing. My grandmother is a designer… so I think I was born with it.
What person or persons do you look up to in the fashion design field? any favorite designers? Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, Rachel Roy…they are my top three, but all designers (well-known to freelance) are admirable.
What advice do you have for aspiring stylist? I know its kind of cliché but...Be You. There is no right or wrong answers in Art; you just need to find your audience. Once you have a following, you can’t be stopped! Oh yeah, Keep GOD first!!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Somewhere sitting back, sipping on a mimosa, toasting to my success. I believe that God has wonderful things in store for me , I’m just being patient and taking this journey day by day.
