As the reel begins to play for the upcoming Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap movie, the trailer takes us into a dialogue between some of music’s most iconic and recognizable faces. Directed by Ice-T, the movie follows the journey of rap through its progressive eras to shed light on its growth into a globally dominating force. To name a few, the footage highlights appearances from Eminem, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Nas, KRS-One and Snoop Dogg. I think this is will be a good history lesson to us younger generation, about the roots of hip-hop. The film is set for a June 15th release.
